High Quality NQ/HQ/PQ Impregnated Diamond Core Drill Bit For Hard Rock Drilling

 

Impregnated Diamond Core Bits are manufactured with very small, high quality synthetic diamonds, mixed evenly through a metal alloy matrix. The matrix erodes away at the same rate as the diamonds become worn and rounded. Thus new sharp diamonds are exposed to continue cutting through the rock. In most geological formations, impregnated bits are more economical to use than other bits.  
 

 Some additional details about impregnated diamond core bits:

• Diamond Types - Depending on the target formation, different types of industrial diamonds may be used, such as ballas, bort, or bonded synthetic diamonds for optimized cutting.
• Metallurgy - The metal matrix undergoes proprietary heat treatment processes to achieve optimal hardness, toughness and wear characteristics. Alloys used include tungsten carbides, nickel alloys, etc.
• Manufacturing Process - Diamonds and powdered metal matrix are placed under high vacuum and pressure to allow atomic fusion and infiltration between the diamonds and metal substrate.
