The steps involved in using the horizontal wireline fishing tool for recovery operations are as follows:

1. Install the horizontal wireline fishing tool at the bottom end of the drill string, ensuring a secure connection between the fishing head and the target object.

2. Use hoisting equipment to deploy the fishing tool into the wellbore until it reaches the target location.

3. Apply tension and connect the target object to the fishing tool using the wireline. 

4.Control the tension and torque of the wireline to disengage the target object from the wellbore wall or other obstacles. 

5.Successfully retrieve the target object to the surface for further inspection or processing.
